Windows Azure支持哪些微软应用程序？

ZDNet至顶网软件频道消息： ZDNet专栏作家Mary Jo Foley撰文写道，本周早些时候微软官员宣布，客户即时起可以在Windows Azure云的虚拟机上运行Dynamics NAV 2013和GP 2013等应用程序。

最近添加的永久虚拟机（persistent VM）上除了运行以上两款应用程序外，也支持其他一些应用程序。下面的表源自微软TechNet的一篇博客文章（是微软官方知识库文章的镜像），表里列出了微软在Azure云里支持（又名“微软验证”）哪些微软自己的服务器应用程序及其版本：

微软BizTalk服务器

支持微软BizTalk服务器2013或更新的版本

微软Forefront身份管理器

支持微软Forefront身份管理器2010 R2 SP1或更新的版本

微软Project Server

支持微软Project Server 2013或更新的版本

微软SharePoint服务器

支持微软SharePoint Server 2010或更新的版本

微软SQL Server

支持64位版本的Microsoft SQL Server 2008或更新的版本

微软System Center

支持以下System Center 2012 SP1及更新版本的应用程序：

• App Controller
• Operations Manager
• Orchestrator
• Server Application Virtualization
• Service Manager

微软Team Foundation Server

支持微软Team Foundation Server2012或更新的版本

这篇博客文章针对有些版本Windows Server的Role和服务给出了的需注意的地方，有些Server Role是微软认证支持的，但在Windows Azure上没有支持。 具体列出如下：

Windows Server Roles

在Windows Server 2008 R2或更新的版本下支持以下的Role。 新的Role一经证实，会加在表里更新：

• Active Directory Domain Services
• Active Directory Federation Services
• Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services
• Application Server
• DNS Server
• File Services
• Network Policy and Access Services
• Print and Document Services
• Web Server (IIS)
• Windows Server Update Services

Windows Azure上的虚拟机不支持以下Role：

• Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol Server
• Hyper-V
• Remote Access (Direct Access)
• Windows Deployment Services 

Azure虚拟机里的Microsoft产品不支持以下Windows Server功能：

• BitLocker Drive Encryption (on the OS disk – may be used on data disks)
• Internet Storage Name Server
• Multipath I/O
• Network Load Balancing
• Peer Name Resolution Protocol
• SNMP Services
• Storage Manager for SANs
• Windows Internet Name Service
• Wireless LAN Service
• Windows Server Failover Clustering, except for SQL Server AlwaysOn Availability Groups

这个表列出了哪些微软支持的应用程序和服务可以在Azure虚拟机上运行。具有一定的价值。对应这些应用程序和服务，微软也正在开发或已经开发了一些版本可以在非虚拟机上环境下运行。例如SQL数据库（原名SQL Azure）及BizTalk Services。

微软今年4月宣布其Windows Azure上的Linux和Windows服务器虚拟机（VM）已进入使用阶段并提供再开发接口。这些永久虚拟机，是微软去年6月公开发布的。利用这些虚拟机，用户可以在Azure云里运行现有的Linux和Windows Server应用程序，不需要为Azure云而重写应用程序。

微软去年宣布，允许用户在这些永久虚拟机运行：Windows Server 2008 R2，Windows Server 2012，OpenSUSE 12.1，CentOS 6.2，Ubuntu 12.04，SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP2，以及在Windows Azure上开发的Windows服务器应用程序和Linux变种的应用程序。
